THE PROCESS: How a successful brand shoot works

THE PREP

You’ll fill out a brand questionnaire to dive deep about what you brand is, how you see yourself and your business.
A 60-90 minute consultation is next to decide the “stories” that we are looking to show in your photos.
A shot list and timeline with wardrobe is created to make sure that every aspect is covered and planned for.
THE SESSION

We start your day with professional hair and makeup artisry to get you looking and feeling your best.
We then photograph the variety of looks, locations, detail images (product and social media abstracts) that you will use to boost your sales and credibility. Included are multiple, lifestyle image “headshots” for website and promotional needs. My guided posing assures you are looking great.
THE Results

We’ll capture the visual communication of what you do, how you do it, and who you serve.
This session generally includes lifestyle portraits, action images, “fly on the wall” views of you doing what what you do, detail shots of your product, your procedure, your tools of the trade. You’ll receive photos social media ready and color corrected for you to be seen.

Many photographers are not used to working with mature faces and can often make mistakes that will make wrinkles more apparent, eyes more sunken in and neck wrinkling look like your last name is “Turkey"!

With years of training under my belt, I’m well known for posing and guiding clients so they can relax in front of the camera, all while looking their very best. Any resistance, fears, reservations about being photographed will show up on their faces, so I share a method and a joy that makes all of that tension diminish, to drop the guard and be more yourself.

I use natural light as often as possible so the lighting on my clients is as flattering as it can be. This is especially fabulous for mature faces that want to appear younger.

My goal is to make the entire photo experience as smooth and stress free as possible. With the right guidance and unwavering support tailored to women over 50, you can not only achieve incredible results, but enjoy the process. I promise.

My techniques do not involve making you look 40 if you are 70. My goal in my signature retouching technique is to present you in the way that celebrities get to show up: confident, invigorated and at thier best!

Yes, I provide hair and makeup artistry as a key component to my sessions.
My experienced professional will work closely with you to achieve the look you desire, from a natural "no-makeup, camera ready" appearance to more dramatic styles, including lashes.
If you have sensitivities to products, you're welcome to bring your own.
You can also bring a photo with a look you love for reference, and don't forget to bring your favorite lipstick along.
The wonderful thing about this question is you are not responsible for how you look in your photos, I am!
Half of my clients feel that they “don’t look good in pictures” and are totally floored when they see what a little guidance can do when it comes to the results. I work with your body type to really position you in flattering ways where you look your best. Once you say “yes” to a session, you are in great hands that will take care of you, start to finish!
Yes, I offer retouching services to enhance your photos. Please look at the detailed description above that shares what and how I create the retouching I do.
If you have specific retouching requests, please let me know during our consultation.
Additional retouching may be purchased to your order, if you wish it applied to more photos.
With branding photography, you can expect an investment ranging from $1500 to $5000.
There's no pressure or upsell; you receive all that is listed in the description, without any additional investment. Some clients will rent the perfect space with which to have their photos taken, one that represents the “feel” of their branding. Some clients choose to upgrade your package after reviewing their photos. I will work with you to get just the package that is best for you.
I caution you her to beware of unusually low priced offers in branding photography. Exceptional, scroll-stopping images are crucial for building your online presence, connecting with your audience, and promoting yourself and your business. Spending time with the wrong photographer can cost you money AND time.
This endeavor not only enhances your professional image but is also an essential tax write-off for your business.
