what is the difference between a headshot session anD a BRANDING SESSION?A traditional headshot is usually a simple, shoulders-up photo. It’s meant to show what you look like, so people can decide whether you are okay to work with or not.
What I offer goes a bit further.
My Brand Boost Headshot sessions are designed to give you a polished, professional image, along with a few additional looks that offer you more variety, more personality than a regular headshot. With professional makeup, guided posing, and three wardrobe changes, you’ll have images that not only show what you look like but also convey your vibe on a really good day.
A branding session expands on that.
Instead of focusing on just one or two looks, we create a collection of images that reflect how you show up in your work, your life. These may include different outfits, different backgrounds, and a range of expressions that feel approachable, current and strong.
If a headshot says, “this is what I look like,”
a branding photo shows, “this is what it’s like to work with me.”
Both are fully guided, so you’re never left wondering what to do. The goal is simple: images that feel like you and represent you well wherever you use them.

Each branding session includes:
• A detailed pre-shoot questionnaire to hone in on your branding style and what you are looking to create.
•, A Planning Session, where we think through and design your photoshoot to make sure that we are capturing all that you need for your upcoming promotions. We go over what the day entails, precisely what to expect, as well as wardrobe do's and don’ts.
• The Photo Session itself, which starts with professional hair and make up artistry, 5-7 wardrobe and background changes.
• It can be a half-day in the studio or an all-day studio/multiple-location session to cover all of your needs. This is a digital package with 10-100+ images, depending on the package you choose, with professional retouching of your chosen portraits.
